Reasons for deformation of steel structure during welding:

1. Thermal deformation is often caused by improper welding process; Cold deformation is caused by large volume and poor rigidity. Interrelated components can not be assembled into a whole, and the lofting line is not correct, assembly sequence error or deformation.

2, the deformation of complex steel structure processing, mainly hot deformation, cold deformation or related components can not be assembled into a whole.

Procedure for reducing welding thermal deformation of steel structures

1. Welding sequence method: the correct arrangement of welding sequence is an effective method to prevent welding deformation. The law of welding deformation is that the deformation caused by the weld line is large, and the deformation caused by each weld line generally cannot cancel each other, and the deformation direction is consistent with the deformation direction caused by the weld line first.

2, the use of positioning control method: before the component welding, with many solder joints will be welding parts or around positioning, but also on both sides of the weld pressure to heavy weight, this method is called positioning control method.

3, anti-deformation method: before welding, the component should be judged according to the welded metal component. When cooling after welding, the direction of deformation and the amount of shrinkage, the welding parts in advance to the opposite direction of bending or oblique, welding due to its own shrinkage deformation, just to restore to the predetermined shape position. It can prevent welding deformation and reduce welding stress.

4, fixture fixing method: with a large rigid fixture clamping combination welding parts, with force control deformation, and then welding, this method is called fixture fixing method.

When welding, the expansion force and contraction force generated inside the weldment are limited by the force of the fixture, which can significantly reduce the deformation. However, this method is not suitable for components requiring smaller internal stress due to the large internal stress in the weldment.

In the process of steel structure processing and installation, welding connection is often used in the connection method, in order to ensure the welding quality in the processing should pay more attention to the processing details.
