Crushing machine

Mining operations use crushers, usually classified according to how well they crush the starting material, with primary and secondary crushers handling coarse material and tertiary and quaternary crushers reducing ore particles to a finer gradation. Each crusher is designed to handle a certain maximum size of raw material, and typically sends its output to a screener, which sorts and directs the product for further processing. Typically, a crushing stage is followed by a grinding stage if further material reduction is required. In addition, stone crushers are often located next to the crusher to reduce oversized material that is too large for the crusher. The crusher is used to reduce the particle size sufficiently so that the material can be processed into finer particles in the mill.

Jaw crushers use compressive force to break up particles. This mechanical pressure is achieved by the crusher's two jaws, one of which is fixed while the other reciprocates. A jaw crusher or toggle crusher consists of a set of vertical jaws, one of which remains stationary, called the fixed jaw, and the other, called the swinging jaw, which is relative to it by a cam or linkage mechanism Moving back and forth, acts like a Class II lever or nutcracker. The volume or cavity between the two jaws is called the crushing chamber. The movement of the swinging jaws can be very small, since complete crushing is not done in one go. The inertia required for crushing the material is provided by the flywheel. The moving shaft produces eccentric motion, resulting in the closing of the gap.

Gyratory crushers are similar in basic concept to jaw crushers and consist of a concave surface and a conical head; both surfaces are usually lined with manganese steel surfaces. The inner cone has a slight circular motion, but does not rotate; the motion is produced by an eccentric. As with a jaw crusher, the material moves down between the two surfaces, gradually being crushed until it is small enough to fall out of the gap between the two surfaces.

Cone crushers are similar in operation to gyratory crushers, with less steepness of the crushing cavity and more parallel areas between crushing areas. A cone crusher crushes rock by squeezing it between an eccentric rotating main shaft covered by a wear-resistant cover and a closed concave hopper covered by a manganese concave or bowl liner. As the rock enters the top of the cone crusher, it is wedged and squeezed between the mantle and the bowl lining or concave surface. Large chunks of ore shatter once, then fall to a lower position (since they are now smaller) and shatter again. This process continues until the debris is small enough to fall through the narrow opening in the bottom of the crusher.

Compound cone crusher (VSC series cone crusher) can crush materials with medium hardness or above. Mainly used in mining, chemical industry, road and bridge construction, construction and other industries. VSC series cone crushers are available in coarse, medium, fine and super crushing chambers. Compared with the same type, the VSC series cone crusher has the best combination of crushing frequency and eccentricity, which can make the material have higher crushing degree and higher output. In addition, the enhanced lamination crushing effect of the VSC series cone crusher on the material particles makes the cubic shape of the crushed material better, which increases the selling point.
