Sliding support connection of steel structure corridor

Building shape changes with each passing day at the same time increased the use of steel structure corridor sliding support construction. Rigid connection is a kind of strong connection between corridor and tower. It strengthens the connection between the corridor and the tower as well as between different towers, and solves several connection ways of sliding supports:

1. Rigid connection:

It strengthens the connection between the corridor and the tower as well as between the different towers, and enhances the overall workability of the corridor structure, which is its great advantage. The corridor with rigid connection should not only bear its own dead load and live load, but also coordinate the uneven deformation of different towers under horizontal and vertical loads. At this time, the joint of the corridor and the tower has complex forces, which will produce large bending moments, shear forces and axial forces, and the axial forces and bending moments of the upper and lower chord bars will also constitute a large overall bending moments and shear forces. This requires that the corridor itself has higher strength and stiffness, which is more suitable for the use of rigid connection. The support processing of the rigid connection must ensure that the corridor can coordinate the deformation between the towers. Therefore, special attention should be paid to strengthening the connection between the corridor and the main structure. When necessary, the corridor can be extended to the inner cylinder of the main structure and is reliably connected with the inner cylinder; If it cannot be extended to the inner cylinder, the steel reinforced concrete beam can also be set in the main structure along the corridor direction and the main structure can be anchored reliably. The floor slab of the connecting corridor should be reliably connected with the floor slab of the main structure and strengthened with reinforcement structure. When the main structure connected with the corridor is reinforced concrete structure, the vertical members should be set in the section steel, the section steel should be reliably anchored into the lower main structure.

2. Articulated connection:

The hinge connection loosens the local bending moment constraint of the upper and lower chord bars of the end, reduces the internal force of the end bar, and makes the structural design of the connection more convenient. However, without the negative moment at the end, the positive moment in the corridor span will be increased, and it also weakens the coordination effect of the corridor on the joint work of the tower.

3. Sliding connection:

When the stiffness of the corridor itself is weak, even if it is made rigid connection, it can not play the role of coordinating the deformation of the two towers. At this time, the form of sliding connection should be considered. Sliding connection can be connected with one end of the corridor and the tower, one end of the sliding connection, can also be both ends of the sliding support. With this connection mode, the force of the connecting corridor will be relatively small, but at this time, the connecting corridor can no longer coordinate the joint work between the towers, the towers and the connecting corridor are stressed separately, and the whole connecting corridor structure is only a formal "connecting corridor structure". Because the sliding end will have a certain amount of slip under the action of load, an important problem in the design of sliding support is to set a limit reset device, and provide an estimated amount of slip, to prevent the sliding corridor or collision with the tower caused by structural damage. Therefore, this connection mode is generally used in the case of low corridor position and small span.
